Compass Centervue Visual Field/Confocal Camera
Compass can perform standard 24-2 visual field testing and deliver true color confocal images at the same time. It is the first Fundus Automated perimeter able to do these tasks.
The high resolution image which Compass creates is used to track the eye while testing. It is used to test the abilities of the eyes and of the visual pathway as a whole. Performing this test will ensure that the structure of the eye, as well as its functionality, is both consistent and reliable.
CIRRUS HD-OCT – Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) – Glaucoma – Medical Technology | ZEISS International
The CIRRUS aids in the early detection of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. It analyzes the retinal and vascular tissue of the eye in order to assess the structural integrity of the eye. Additionally, it is able to detect vascular leakage based on blood flow in the vessels in the back of the eye.
This instrument is used to diagnose and measure the severity of dry eyes. It focuses on the tear film and the eyes’ parts which contribute to the tear film. The use of this technology allows Ophthalmologists and Optometrists to diagnose and gauge dry eye. If treatment is needed, the OCULUS can be used to view the “before and after” results, and the success of the treatment.
